An ambient soundtrack which has a touch of psychedelic atmosphere. It features simple but lyrical piano phrases, and it builds up gradually with minimalistic orchestral & guitar riffs.
Tokyo’s Coolest Sound chose Dark Model’s first album. I’d like to thank Patrick for writing the detailed release news.
“Dark Model rides that wave the way a knight would ride into battle. Tatsuya Oe, the brain behind the name, blends cinematic orchestrations with new edged electronic music to create music with an intensity that few could achieve.”
“As the album comes to its end, it’s clear that Dark Model is a rarity – ambitious in its attempt to fuse cinematic scores with up-to-the-minute dub aesthetics, and overall it’s successful in what it has set out to do.”
This is an uplifting, cinematic breakbeat/EDM track featuring tribal percussion & drumline (marching band), massive electronic beats, and full orchestral arrangements.
Death by Electro (Electornic Music Magazine) reviewed Dark Model’s first album. “Dark Model’s Electronic Orchestral Album Is A Cinematic Spectacle”
“This is dancey to please most educated club kids , but also serves as his calling card to Hollywood as this album is almost a tapestry of would be soundtracks, though to his credit some of his music was used in the first promo reel for Elysium.”
Melancholic and dramatic orchestral electronica which features a dark piano intro and builds with full orchestral arrangement and massive electronic beats.
“If you want electronic music with depth, this is it.” This is the comment from DJZ, popular dance music website . I’d like to thank Kimberly @DJZ for the great words!
