A backstory about Dark Model’s “Survivors,” the first cut from the upcoming album “Saga.” This time I will delve into music production side, especially how to incorporate orchestral and electronic elements and make them sound great.
Survivors (Thematic/Heroic/Orchestral Funk)
First cut from Dark Model’s second album “Saga.” Not only does this thematic track construct orchestral sound, but it also features disco & funk elements which Oe had embraced throughout his career as Captain Funk.
“Broken Arrows” featured in the reel of Mr. X inc (VFX company in Canada)
Mr. X inc, an award-winning Visual Effects company which has been involved in numerous films such as “Resident Evil,” “Ben-Hur,” “Penny Dreadful,” featured Dark Model “Broken Arrows” on their 2016/2017 reel.

“Farewell to the Moon” in Anon Optics’ Campaign
Dark Model “Farewell to the Moon” was featured in the campaign video of Anon Optics’ “2016: MFI – Magnetic Facemask Integration.” This song is included in Dark Model’s first full album.

”Hope Is Never Gone” was used in TBS Japan’s Emmy-nominated TV drama “Real Escape Game TV (リアル脱出ゲームTV）” (Aired on Jun 12, 2014). “Hope Is Never Gone” is included in Dark Model’s first album.
Rage and Redemption (Apocalyptic/Uplifting Dance/Choir)
An uplifting, apocalyptic, and Gothic Industrial dance track that features choir and orchestral sound. This track was newly mixed and included in the new album “Saga.”
